This is our story! The days are long but the years are truly short. I want to remember these precious days with my children and husband and this blog will help me do that.
I have been wanting to write for weeks now. I am keeping this blog mostly so I can go back and remember these years with my kids. When my kids are grown and having kids of their own I know how much all this writing will mean to me and hopefully them. :) I know they would love to read them too. Time does fly. Holden is 7 months old and Tanner is 3 and half. I just had my neice Lauren and nephew Alson for a couple nights and man did we have fun. WE made our own little water park in the back yard and of course we went to the Y pool too. Lauren is such a sweet girl and Alson is so cute. He was cracking me up with his little dances. Tanner looks up to him and was copying everything he does. He is 6 after all. I have a new respect for my mom on a daily basis as having 6 children in 9 years I am sure she had next to no time for herself. But I do remember all the little sacrifices she made for us kids. I am sure most girls do especially once they become mothers their selves. I am exhausted at night. These boys keep me going. I will stay home with them and be very involved. This is my job. I came home from my womens meeting the other night after being gone for several hours and Billy says "I so respect what you do on a daily basis." Parenting is not easy. I am working hard now to have a good schedule for them as Tanner will start pre school next month and afternoons will be nap times! I have to have those 2 hours(like now) to regroup. My boys are blessings. Lately Tanner loves hats. He has a little hat rack that his meme got him with all his hats on it. He will pick one out in the mornings and ask me if it matches. He has hats that Billy got him, I got him, his Grammy got him, the neighbor, and even my sister. He loves them. He loves books too. Right now his favorite one is Llama Llama Red Pajama. My Aunt Betty always buys all the kids books every time she comes to visit. She gave him this new one and we read it today at nap. He cracks up at the part where he's hiding under the covers. So stinking cute. If he's grumpy or in a bad mood I'll say "Tanner you mad at me??" He says "No mommy, I happy at you." I love it!!! I'll ask him just to hear him say it. Holden is really growing. He has this little thing where he sticks his tongue out and kicks his feet. I adore it. If he's excited that little tongue comes out and those feet get to going. He is going to be mommy's runner. He isn't actually crawling yet but he scoots and rolls. :) We have been enjoying our summer. WE have been out to the Lake a couple times, Lakeland, Disney, Blizzard Beach, and the Y a lot. We are going to Sarasota for four days in a few weeks. That is going to be so fun and I can not wait to get away with my boys. I love the sand at the beach and so does Tanner. Now that Holden loves the water and can sit up I know he will love it too. My boys love going places. The Lake is fun going on boat rides and playing in the water. Lakeland is fun cause we swim in my aunts pool. I love going to see Aunt Brenda and my dad and my mom. I have a huge family and we are all so close. Tanner gets so excited when we go and hates leaving. I am happy that it is only an hour and a half away. Look forward to going again soon. I love my boys. Day to Day is hard sometimes but Billy and I are so blessed. We have a loving supportive family and parents. I can not imagine doing this without them. I am grateful!
