Days fly by in this season of my life. My kids are 7 and 4. Pre-school 2 days a week for Holden and first grade for Tanner man. Lately we do a lot of family walks and bike rides. We have a smaller yard since we moved and Nani likes to do his business outside the yard. ;) (thankful for that) We love our neighborhood so much. We just LOVE the NORTH side of Ocala and Evergreen is super diverse and friendly and yet so much open and beautiful space. The kids are so fun on their bikes and scooters and Billy even got me a bike for my birthday. We call it the purple peddler. I LOVE IT! The boys got haircuts after school yesterday and last night was an ordinary day ending with tacos and books. My boys love both!! When we are out on our walks Holden loves to stop and pick up sticks and rocks on our bike ride. He also finds interesting leaves and pinecones. He will stop me and give me random things from nature and both the boys will give me small flowers. I have kept all of them since we moved into our new house 8 months ago. Some people might like jewelry boxes or fancy art on their bureau but I LOVE having all the things my little boys have given me. Such sweet and loving children and I am so thankful for them. Tanner loves to pretend and I love that about him. He loves history these days and I love learning about history with him. We read a book called George vs. George the other night and I seriously learned a few things. ;) It was about George Washington and King George the 3rd. Quiet a complicated book for a 7 year old boy. He loves books. He loves them so much that even him and the librarian (Mrs. Roland) from his school have a special bond and she will put books on hold for him that she thinks he will like. Now that is pretty cool!! Some days are long and brutal and I am sure I am getting many things wrong. Yesterday was sweet. Billy was home at 4 and we did homework and rode bikes. The boys had bubble baths and told us stories at dinner. They ran around and danced after dinner. They loved on the dog. They prayed with us and kissed us. A sweet day! I am thankful.
