It is a late afternoon on a Thursday before Mother's Day. The boys are bathed and watching a movie on the living room floor. It is super hot out and they both had school today. Billy is finishing some notes in his office and I have been mopping and washing sheets. I'm letting the boys relax and watch BFG. It is super peaceful for the moment. Leftovers for dinner and books and bed. Holden is finishing up his year as a bookworm. He only went 2 days a week but he sure loved it and learned a lot. As a mommy you want others to see your children the way you see them. The way God sees you. "THE APPLE OF YOUR EYE" Holden sure is the Apple of my eye. He loves school, animals, babies and his friends with a fierceness. He is brave and funny. He sure loves karate and doing fantastic at it. He is witty and looks out for others. He loves to give me things and kiss my hand. I love his voice and snuggles. As I look at him watching the movie I see how young and tender he still is. YES he drives me crazy and YES sometimes I feel like I'll lose my mind at any given moment. THAT"S MOTHERHOOD!! :) BUT I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING. I didn't think I would have 1 kid much less 2. God sure has blessed us BIG!! He will be going to pre K next year and I am so thankful that we have another year at St. Paul's. We love his little school.
